Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee of $100. Extenuating circumstances are considered when appropriate.

No. A psychiatric evaluation does not guarantee that medication will be prescribed or that a particular medication will be started or continued. Prescribing decisions are based on clinical assessment, safety, evidence-based practice, and professional judgment.

Controlled medications may be prescribed when clinically indicated and appropriate following assessment. Scheduling an appointment does not guarantee a prescription for a controlled medication or continuation of a medication previously prescribed by another provider.

We provide routine outpatient psychiatric care for adults whose needs can be safely and appropriately managed in an outpatient setting. Some individuals may benefit from specialized services or a higher level of care, including those experiencing acute or unstable psychotic symptoms, active or medically complex eating disorders, active substance use disorders requiring specialized treatment, or psychiatric symptoms requiring intensive services.

If your needs fall outside the scope of the practice, appropriate recommendations will be discussed whenever possible.
